Advantage SA

Sharing all the reasons why people love South Australia

Advantage SA connects South Australian businesses, media and Government to enhance confidence and pride in the State.

  • Advantage SA

Challenge  Advantage SA (SA Great) asked Fusion to inject some innovation into a youth retention campaign to complement traditional media.

Solution  We created a strategy that enabled people to share what they think is great about SA with their own voices by building the Heaps Good website which is filled with user-generated content about all of the Heaps Good things SA offers.

Result  With user-generated content allowing people to share their own Heaps Good insights, the site fast became the place to explore exciting things in SA. With almost 8 million hits since launch, it showed that going beyond traditional media channels can really pay off.

  • Advantage SA

Challenge  To make the Heaps Good experience mobile.

Solution  We built a powerful, pocket sized mobile app that condenses all the things you love about South Australia - right into the palm of your hand - Heaps Near! And when users find something they love, it’s easy to share it with friends via Facebook, Email, and Twitter.

Result  A mobile app providing geo-specific Heaps Good information was the perfect platform to make Heaps Good info available everywhere in real time. Heaps Good is free in the iTunes app store.

  • Advantage SA

Challenge  To publicise the Heaps Good campaign all over South Australia.

Solution  We created an email campaign asking people to submit photos of themselves wearing the iconic Screamdance-designed Heaps Good t-shirts via a dedicated microsite. The best photos were then chosen to appear in a Heaps Good TVC that referred to the supporting website.

Result  The competition was a huge success, gaining the attention of South Australians all over the state.

  • Advantage SA

Challenge  Promote Heaps Good all over South Australia.

Solution  Further campaign activities including outdoor, radio and press all tied into social networking sites.

Result  On networks such as Facebook, the ‘SA: It’s Heaps Good’ group connected people with the campaign, encouraging them to share all the stuff they love about SA.
